Breathing for Birth 🌸 Pelvic Floor Awareness (Part 2)

In this practice, we take pelvic floor awareness a step deeper. Using your breath as a guide, you’ll learn how to gently

lift and engage
with the in-breath, and then completely

🕊️ release and soften
with the out-breath — always with a focus on letting go.

💫 This mindful cycle of lifting and releasing:

  • 🌿 Builds greater awareness

  • 💖 Improves circulation

  • 🌸 Supports all of your pelvic organs:
    your vulva, vagina and perineum;
    with nourishing blood flow

All of which are positive, empowering ways to prepare both body and mind for labour.

Practicing this regularly throughout pregnancy can help you feel more connected, confident, and calm — so that when the time comes,

🌻 you’ll trust in your body’s natural rhythm to 🌻

soften, surrender,
and allow birth to unfold
.

(The specific birthing breath will come in Part 3
— this stage is about building awareness and trust in your body’s rhythm.)
