Pregnancy asks a great deal from a woman’s body and heart
In modern life there are very few spaces where pregnant women can simply slow down, be cared for, and prepare for birth in a calm and supportive environment.
This retreat day is an invitation to step out of the rush of everyday life and spend a day nourishing yourself and your growing baby.
Set in the roundhouse at the Wildlings Outdoor Education Hub, surrounded by forest garden herbs and nature, this is a gentle and grounding day for women in pregnancy.
Together we will move, rest, share nourishing food and explore simple practices that support the body and mind as birth approaches.
Places are limited to just six women, creating a small and supportive group where everyone is able to relax and feel held.
A deeply nourishing day for pregnant women to slow down, connect with their body and baby, and prepare for the journey of birth.
Held in the warm wooden roundhouse at Noxon Farm in the Forest of Dean, this small gathering offers a rare chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life and spend a day surrounded by nature and other women walking the same path.
Together we will create a gentle, supportive space where you can rest, move, learn and reflect as you prepare for the arrival of your baby.
This day draws on both modern birth knowledge and traditional women’s wisdom from cultures around the world. You’ll experience simple yet powerful practices that support the body and nervous system during pregnancy and labour — including breathwork, relaxation, movement, and traditional tools such as the rebozo, used by midwives for generations.
These practices are helpful preparation for any kind of birth, whether that unfolds at home, in hospital, or by caesarean.
